INSPECTIONS
Fire Free Buildings is a fire protection accredited Scheme (FPAS) recognised business. Our skills and knowledge of the fire protection industry is extensive and are recognised by the industry’s national accreditation system.
Fire Free Buildings offer regular inspection and performance assessment of all your fire safety equipment in line with current Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia.
Fire Free Buildings can assist with fire orders from Councils and make the process of completing all requirements whilst in contact with the Council.
MAINTENANCE
Following an examination, any faulty fire equipment should undergo necessary repairs or be substituted by a certified technician.
Common repairs involve routine tasks such as exchanging malfunctioning emergency lights, smoke alarms or recharging extinguishers. However, more intricate problems may arise, such as fixing fire hoses and hydrants or probing into evacuation system faults.
Our team comprises of skilled trades, ensuring a single point of contact from start to finish.
INSTALLATION
Fire Free Buildings are able to install active and passive fire protection systems in accordance with current Australian Standards including:
Sprinkler systems
Smoke detection systems
Evacuation systems
Hydrant systems
Any other essential services required

ANNUAL FIRE SAFETY STATEMENT
Fire Free Buildings are able to complete extensive annual inspections to all premises including commercial and residential. Our staff are polite and well trained in dealing with all types of systems and are happy to answer any queries our clients may have.
An annual report is then issued to the owner of the premises for evaluation and approval.
Once the fire systems repairs have been inspected, tested and all defects repaired we can issue an Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS).
The AFSS is then signed by the owners of the building and submitted to the Council, along with a copy of the fire safety schedule, declaring the building’s fire safety measures have been assessed and endorsed by an Accredited Practitioner (Fire Safety).
